Dr. Shancy Jacob
Dr. Shancy Jacob has extensive expertise as a nephrologist for over a decade. She worked as faculty at University of Texas Medical Branch teaching medical trainees for over 10 years before starting her own medical practice. She is well versed in the latest treatment for kidney disease. Dr. Jacob specializes in general nephrology and her passion is to prevent progression of kidney disease and empowering her patients with the knowledge needed for their well-being.
Dr. Jacob earned her medical degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic medicine. She did internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at Oklahoma State University. After training, she came back to her home state of Texas to practice medicine.
